The annual insurance forum is organized by SAIPRO company and supported by the Public Fund for support and development of print media and information agencies of Uzbekistan with the assistance of Finance Ministry of Uzbekistan, Association of Professional Participants of the Uzbek Insurance Market, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan.

The goal of the forum is to discuss priority tasks of development of insurance in Uzbekistan, tell the wide public the results achieved in the course of the Uzbek insurance market reformation, as well as increase of the level of insurance culture among the population.

The solemn ceremony of awarding diplomas to winners of Oltin Soyabon (Golden Umbrella) Prize founded by SAIPRO company and the Association of Professional Participants of the Uzbek Insurance Market. The Prize is a public award which is conferred annually in the sphere of insurance.

The first forum on the "Insurance business in Uzbekistan: state, perspectives and their coverage in the media" was held in Tashkent on 22 May 2008. It was attended by more than 100 participants, including members of the Senate [upper house] and deputies of the Legislative Chamber [lower house] of Oliy Majlis [parliament] of the Republic of Uzbekistan, representatives of ministries and departments, state and public organization, heads of insurance, leasing companies and banks, investment companies, higher educational establishments, representatives of the office of UN Development Programme in Uzbekistan, as well as local and foreign journalists.
