Tashkent International Conference "Modern Insurance Market of Uzbekistan" has kicked off in Tashkent today. This conference is held in accordance with the Road map for the accelerated development of the insurance market of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2019-2020, approved by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On measures to reform and ensure the accelerated development of the insurance market of the Republic of Uzbekistan " dated 02.08.2019 (#ÓÏ-4412). The conference is underway in International Hotel Tashkent and will continue its work until November 7.
The conference discusses the directions of reforming and accelerated development of the insurance market of the country, provided by the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as the current state of national and international insurance markets.
The conference will hear reports of leading experts in the field of insurance from the UK, USA, Russia, Germany, China, Ukraine, as well as representatives of domestic companies. Experts will talk about the current state and prospects of the insurance market of Uzbekistan, global trends and benchmarks for Uzbekistan, the role of insurance and pensions in the expansion of capital markets in Uzbekistan. At the same time, such interesting topics as the introduction of compulsory health insurance in Uzbekistan and insurance of cotton crops, field and perennial (fruits, berries) crops against weather risks are discussed.
The conference will also acquaint participants with the potential and broad investment opportunities of the insurance sector of Uzbekistan and the Central Asian region, will promote the establishment of mutually beneficial business relations with foreign partners in the implementation of the existing potential of the insurance sector of the region.
