Representatives of the joint venture Uzbek Leasing International SC take part in the international seminar-conference "Re-Engineering of Finance through Automation Tools, Scoring Solutions and Credit Bureaus", which takes place on November 30 - December 1, 2011 in Tashkent.
The event is organized by the IFC (International Finance Corporation - IFC) and Information Rating Agency SAIPRO in order to prepare financial institutions for effective use of credit bureau services and assist in further improving the financing process in the country.
The event was attended by about 80 representatives of commercial banks, micro-credit institutions, leasing and insurance companies, as well as the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan, ministries, various international financial organizations and other interested entities.
In October this year, the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On credit information exchange" was adopted, which laid a robust legal basis for the further development of credit bureaus. The adopted law highlights a form of financial interaction as leasing, and lessor and lessee are identified as subjects and users of credit information. With this specification leasing companies now have access to important information.
The knowledge obtained during the seminar-conference will allow participants to improve and accelerate the financing of small businesses, as well as the country's population by more fully utilizing the potential of credit bureaus, pledged in the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On credit information exchange". In turn, the knowledge, experience and good availability of information will allow leasing companies to raise their work in Uzbekistan on a new, higher level.
